Hi, I’m Mia Minerva, a freelance illustrator and jewellery designer from Helsinki, Finland. I draw a lot of cute people and plants, and I love creating calm scenes that depict the magic of spending time alone. I get inspired by nature, people, and introspection.
In addition to private commissions and client work, I design illustrated products, including wooden jewellery, and sell them in my online shop. I also sell my art at local, and occasionally even international, design markets and art fairs. My products are also sold at retailers around Finland.
I’ve worked with clients such as Aarre label, the Finnish Red Cross, Blurb Books, Hertta Kustannus, Sateenkaariperheet ry, Vallilan Panimo (Vallila Brewery), Women’s March London, Book Box Club, Wanda Magazine, and Varhaisiän Musiikinopettajat ry, and am always looking for new projects to work on.
In addition to my illustration work, I’m also a co-founder of the Helsinki Drawing Club and the co-host of the Drawing Club podcast.
